today I had a crash that suddenly occur as I was leaving a Competiton.
I'm not sure why that happen - it was not reproduceable for me...

Maybe someone from the devs can see something?

Seems to be some Steam overlay issue.

I have just crashed whilst driving at Imola, in the Tatus, in a leaderboard challenge. Screen froze but could hear car merrily, careering through the undergrowth, until what sounded like a metal to concrete embrace! Had to pull up Task Manager to quash RR, no dump file, one wasn't generated. [S3]Kitsune, sorry tagged you just so you know! ;)

Sounds like something with the graphics card failed. Only computer-god knows what though. :p

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe it was a problem with a Steam-Info coming up in that moment while I was leaving the Competion.
As I'm playing in VR now and the Steam-Overlays are a bit annoying from time to time, I'll go on and disable them...

I'll go and reopen this topic...
Last weekend I had these Crash two times after exiting a competition. I had checked my Steam-Layout-Setting - it was disabled before. Might that be the problem and is Steam-Layout needed to be activated for competitions? @Kitsune Magyar

Do you mean Steam Overlays? As far as I know you only need those for purchases. I'll have too look into this.

I have some new, but I'm not at home at the moment... But I guess it's the same as before - at least the behavior was the same. I startet the competition, drove some laps and improve my times, exit from driving via ESC-Button, press "leave competition"-Button (don't now the exact translation of that button) in menu and than the crash happend, where normaly the leaderboard should appear.

Opening the leaderboard within the game is no problem. It's only the switch back from competition to leaderboard.

Would be great if you could post those dumps when you have time. :D
