Problem Game doesn't load into sessions, many people affected

I had t his issue yesterday but the issue has now fixed itself. I think it was a serverside connection issue. I have left this thread marked as problem because it seems some other people have the same issue. I have edited my descripting below slightly.

Game is stuck on loading screen. It loads into the game but once I try to start a private practice session or join online race it just keeps loading until it returns to main menu. Game worked fine just yesterday. Only change literally I have done is reduce in game music from 100% to 75%. Nothing else has changed that I know.

I have:
- I have done integrity check for the game
- updated chipset, audio and lan drivers
- updated gpu driver
- my crashdumps folder is empty
- I have tried booting without my wheel being connected. Half a dozen reboots.

windows 10, up to date
nvidia GTX970 gpu
i8700k
asus z370
16gb ram
fanatec porsche turbo s wheel and v1 clubsports

 

I join to you. It doesn't load and go back to the main menu from the loading screen.

 

I have the same problem, game starts and when i select a race or practice session it starts loading, keeps loading for 5 mins, then quits back to the main menu. This has happened before too, very frustrating!

 

This happened for me too, tonight. When I tried to start a race or a practice session, it would just sit on the loading screen for a few minutes, and then drop back to the menu.
But when I tried again, about 2 hours later, it worked just fine.
Very strange.

 

It started to work. Maybe it was a server issue? At least I have been able to join 2 servers now, but its not 100% reliable...

 

Thread says resolved, but I've been having this problem since yesterday. I can't join a single or multiplayer race. It just keeps spinning on load screen for a long time then kicks me back to menu.

 

Join public and ranked server. Game loading long time then back to lobby. Ermmm ... Helo

 

Same thing happening to me ( Joining from South Africa). There are people that can join because you can seen numbers in the races and i just watched a livestream of a race

I marked the issue as resolved because the issue has basically fixed itself for me. I didn't really fix it myself either.

I think you might be better off making your own thread about the issue because your issue might be different. That being said I'll change the title so people can still post if they have this issue.
