After the update, the game is extremely slow: takes me about 8 minutes to get into the car (offline). Also, the game hangs when in menu's, no matter what menu, just not when I'm in the car. Almost forgot: when in pits, driving or standing, the wheelbase seems to go through sandpaper, it's really bad, like the wheel is breaking down. As soon as over the line: all is fine. None of these things I had before. Checked file integrity: all was fine. Not unusual on update days although i was fine running from 6-9pm cest, after that things got very slow for me as well but i was about to end my driving for today anyways so dont know how things have developed since then
Maybe it's that, maybe because I did the file check a second time, but it seems a bit better now. But what you state: should that not be just for online? I will wait a bit more, try again tomorrow. Thank you Nico!
The game in always-online, it loads some data from the server when you launch the game or load any race or practice session, even menus are web-based (they require server response when you interact with main menus).
