As title, I am using a DK2 on an ageing i5 2500k and GTX1070, sometimes gameplay appears smooth at others it doesnt, is there a way of displaying FPS?

Atleast for the oculus there is the oculus debug tool available. There you can enable a hud which displays the FPS. But it is not just a little counter, it displays a graph of the Frame-Rate and some other performance-informations...

I have VIVE.. I can have a display too that can show up every time frame drops occur x time in x interval. It's intrusive (unless you have to show only the 1st time and...no FPS
