They also offer now a couple low and high downforce setups for each car + setups are way better than before...

The M4 GT3 feels really great imo. Bought it yesterday.

    Way better than the AMS2 GT1 :D

    Also very nice:

Welcome to the iRacing User Manual Page!
These documents explain how to get the most out of your new iRacing cars. More vehicles will be added regularly over time, so check back often for frequent updates.

Really enjoying the updated tire compound on several of the vehicles as the sense of grip detail through corners is much better.

The weird bouncy effect going over curbs that usually resulted in an uncontrollable spin has been greatly reduced.

3D car viewer is pretty neat but needs a back drop to liven it up.

Iracing is my go to for ovals and dirt racing and I'm really excited they have added more Rallycross tracks, both tracks are good fun and looking forward to Barcelona being added.
Tho I would really like to see a tire compound/model update on the dirt vehicles.

The BMW M4 GT3 as a prototype on iRacing.

As with the BMW M8 GTE and BMW M4 GT4 before it, BMW Motorsport has worked very closely with popular sim racing platform iRacing over the past few months, in order to integrate the BMW M4 GT3 as faithfully as possible in the simulation. The difference this time is that the car is being used as a test car on iRacing even as it is being developed. As such, the sim racers can follow the development together with BMW Motorsport, and can help drive the development forward until the final version is available on iRacing and to real motor racing customers later in 2021. At the same time as the real car is being developed, BMW Motorsport engineers have provided their colleagues at iRacing with CAD data and photos as a reference, which they can then use as a basis when programming and designing the virtual BMW M4 GT3. In an additional data package, iRacing received all the information on the driving dynamics of the BMW M4 GT3. BMW Motorsport engineers use the same set of data to operate the BMW Motorsport simulator, for example. In total, over 70 GB of data has already been exchanged. The common goal: to recreate the actual driving dynamics as realistically as possible.

Is it worth a try? There will be a +20% tax in my country after 1 February.

If I buy content now, how much will it cost?
    1. GTE 1 car
    2. V8 Supercars 1 car
    3. GT3 1 car

    And 3-5 tracks?

Do I have to participate in seasons?

Or can I just use random races? Do they give a + to the licence?

Thanks for the information! The offer in my area is only profitable via steam :( If I use your link, I will have to pay only through their website.

To be honest, I don't really like standart-cars. If I buy cars and tracks can I participate in random-online-lobby?

You will be given a bunch of base content which will allow you to run alot of rookie classes in 4 different racing disciplines. Oval, dirt oval, road and dirt.

As for the cars you listed, I believe they C class and above. You can buy them and practice with them but you won't be able to race them until you obtain the class license for them....which means you will have to buy other content.

As for seasons, they come into play after your out of rookie class and you can obtain credits for finishing 7-8 out 12 weeks in the season.

iRacing is an excellent service and has greatly improved over the yrs, but is expensive.
To buy just 3 cars and a couple of tracks....I would not suggest it.
There are cheaper alternatives on the market.

As Andy, try a promo code and buy the 3 months and test the base content and see how you like it

    Oh, that's sad.

I'm using RF2 as an alternative for now. I only have a few tracks missing for Formula E. But the online racing system is very confusing.

    And more details: https://www.iracing.com/ai-rosters/

Its just still a bit weird to me that iR has AI now... and beeing the last sim to add AI but already beeing miles ahead of the competition with that amount of AI options and stuff... Things i could never even dream about, but now i miss anywhere else... Thats basically what i meant before :D

Meanwhile the rF2 track temp is still fixed at 29 degrees C since 2012 ? and 140psi the tire pressure that always works best lol ^^
