Bug Mazda MX5 cup 2019 no manual gearbox?

As the title says i can only drive this car with paddles (or seq gear box) and not with a manual gearbox (shh shifter), even if the car stats say that this is a manual gear box car.

Is this a known issue? Am i doing smth wrong?

Then i realized this is my 'game setting'. I wish this car was in manual though

 

this car is a manual : manual sequential gearbox
it is however not a manual h box :
and this is because in real life it is a manual sequential gearbox
