Problem My settings reset at launch

I have this issue where certain settings don't save. Audio and graphical settings do, but some gameplay settings such as TC, ABS, and transmission don't. (I change the settings in the main menu and not in a race.) I do not use OneDrive. I have tried:

1. Running Steam and the game as admin;
2. Disabling antivirus (Norton)
3. Adding exceptions for the game to the antivirus for Firewall and file access
4. Disabling Steam Cloud save
5. Uninstalling and re-installing the game (twice for good measure)
6. Verifying game files through Steam
7. Deleting the Documents/SimBin folder (three times for good measure)
8. Checking read/write and control settings for the folders and the single files (system, admins, and users have full control of the folders)
9. Decompressing both through folder properties and elevated command prompt the SimBin folder. None of these have fixed the problem.

The settings I change:

• "Transmission" to "Manual+Autoclutch"
• "Braking Assist" to "Factory ABS"
• "Traction Control" to "Factory TC"

I always change these settings from the main menu. If I enter any race, it will retain these settings. When I close the game and relaunch it, these settings reset back to the default ones.

 

now, all the settings save and I haven't changed anything
