... this little guy is now sitting on my shelf: anyone else into this? My fav GT3 car with my fav livery from R3E (i know it's not exactly the same livery, this one is from the 24h Spa 2013, but it is close).. Now i can drive the car while watching it on the shelf
Not really, but I do have two models of my fav race cars: The Audi R8 LMS Ultra (Phoenix Team) and the (Gulf) Porsche 917K from Le Mans 1970 ...
Is it electric or nitro powered? And yes Im into this I actually have 2 1/10 scale cars a LRP Blast BX1 S10 (electric) and a Thundertiger F1 (Nitro)
yeah exactly.. it's just a 1:18 scale model. I only have 5 model cars, I'm not the "collector", I just buy my favourite racecars. So far I have: - Lola Aston Martin DBR 1-2 LMP1 2009 #007 from "Auto Art" - Porsche 919 hybrid LMP1 2015 #14 from "Spark" - Honda NSX JGTC 2004 #32 (Andre Lotterer) from "Auto Art" - BMW M3 GT2 2010 #25 (Winner of 24h of Nürburgring 2010) from "Minichamps" and now the McLaren MP4 12C GT3 with the 2013 24h of Spa livery from "Minichamps" I've planned to buy troughout 2016 and 2017: - Mazda 787b from "Auto Art" but it's expensive (300€)! - Aston Martin Vantage GTE from "Spark" - Toyota Supra Super GT from "Auto Art" - Porsche 911 (997) GT3 RSR from "Auto Art" - BMW M1 Procar from "Minichamps" - Ford Capri Turbo Gr.5 from "Minichamps" - Audi R8 LMS 2015 #28 Winner of the 24h Nürburgring 2015 from "Spark" - McLaren F1 GTR #44 24h LeMans 1997 from "Minichamps" - Porsche 911 (997) GT3 R #44 24h Nürburgring 2013 Team Falken from "Spark" - McLaren F1 GTR #59 Winner 24h LeMans 1995 from "Minichamps" - BMW M3 (E30) Sport Evolution #19 Jägermeister DTM 1992 from "Auto Art" - maybe some more 12c gt3s with other liverys. maybe one from TSM or AutoArt but they're over 200€ each ok after writing this list I think you could call me a collector after purchasing these. But it will take time and I have limited space. actually I had some of those RC Cars about 15 years ago. I had a low budget 1:10 on-road kyosho chassis with 1,85 cm³ engine i think.. and then additionally a 1:8 offroad Buggy also from Kyosho, but I have no idea what the model was called because I purchased it pre-owned. But it had a very expensive and high-performance 3,5cm³ engine from "Novarossi". This thing was a blast and it was so friggin loud. Much much fun. And some years later I bought another 1:10 on-road chassis from CEN (the CT4S) after i wrecked my first 1:10 kyosho completely. everything nitro powered.. never was a friend of electric-powered rc-cars I think it was 9 years ago when I sold everything
Thanks for the informations. Minichamps looks great, better prices than AutoArt. https://www.minichamps.de/DE/Models/ModelDetails/100102026/index.html
yepp but AutoArt models are most of the time more detailled (the Lola Aston DBR 1-2 is very high quality) and look expensive as they are. But there are cheap AutoArt models too under 100€ (like the Honda NSX JGTC costed me 55€ but there are sold out liverys from this car where you have to pay over 200€ on ebay... ).. and there are also some more expensive Minichamps models. Overall I like the minichamps quality, the BMW M3 GT2 is great and you can open doors, trunk, hood.. Spark is expensive but Resin models. so no moveable wheels, no doors to open. They are nice but not my #1 manufacturer. So far I bought every model when it was on sale.
A little update. A warm welcome for the new guy: AUTOart 1:18 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 #35A Winner 12h Bathurst 2015: Car model #15 now in my small collection. ...and I already got an eye on two other models.... but the money
The McLaren 650S, Audi and AMG are from AutoArt. The Ferrari is from BBR Models. The McLaren MP4-12C in the first post is from Minichamps. This is my collection so far: 6x AUTOart 4x Minichamps 5x Spark 1x Kyosho 1x BBR BBR and AUTOart are my favourites. Minichamps is also good for the price but for like when you're on a budget, so less detailed but still pretty good. Spark is okay but imo too expensive. Also the quality is very much hit and miss with their models.
