I really hope they are going to sort this out before the weekend, for me this is becoming abit long winded now..
That 10 GB patch was just to huge for R3E. The following changes should be made step by step. Patch for the new menu. Everything works fine? Ok! Next patch for the new sound. Everything works fine? Ok! Next patch for the Dedicated Servers. Everything works fine? Ok!. … and so on.
the good news is that the hotfix is here ................ the bad news is that it does not fix anything (for me at least).
