Open Visor Racing Club (OVRC) is organising two leagues in the coming months, next Monday (April 30th), at 8pm BST, season 3 of the GT3 league starts at Hockenheim with 60 minute races on 2x fuel rate, providing exciting strategic sprint races. The Monday after that (May 7th), the Variety League starts, which features single class races in 3 different classes throughout the season (DTM 2016, FR2 and TCR). Both leagues will have 6 races in total and alternate every week. OVRC started with some people in a simracing community that decided they wanted better quality racing and started organising weekly league races. We are a very open group where we often practice together, share setups and help each other improve. Knowing who you are racing against makes the racing even more enjoyable! There is a large range of driver skill across the grid, so there is always someone to race against. Check out our season 2 race results to see for yourself! The OVRC is glad to finally announce the start of the OVRC Club Races, starting from the 15th of May at 7:00 PM UTC+1. The idea behind these races is to allow anyone to jump in and enjoy good racing without having to worry about doing all the race prep that other series may require, therefore, no sign-ups needed. These events will be hosted every Tuesday with the car + track being announced before the race starts. A few races of varying lengths will be planned until 10:00 PM UTC+1, however, due to the open nature of the club races, we can always do some more if there are good suggestions! The server will have a password to prevent ‘the public lobby experience’, so make sure to join our discord server for that password and the voice chat if you want to join in.
