Pit crew in Race07

    Hi,
    I have created some add-on mods for Race07 (Super Touring, BTC, TTA12/STCC15...) and still work on updates for them. By accident I have found a way to add back the disabled pitmarshal (the one in front of you when leaving the pits) by adding him to the track .ani file, but the same method doesn't work for adding back the pitstop pitcrew sadly. They just stand there at point 0,0,0 or where I position them.
    I guess the code to load the animation files is still there from GTR2 but it has been disabled. Is anyone from the Race series who knows if it is possible to somehow reactivate the animations?
    Has it something to do with the game always setting pitcrew detail to '0'?
    Or if this isn't possible, is it somehow possible to add a pitbox like they do in rfactor?
    I understand this is not prioritized by a studio busy with newer games, but I would really appreciate some help if possible.
    I understand many who works for Sector3/Simbin started as modders, so I hope they understand my desire to mod and add things to 'improve' this old game :)
