Problem with the store, cannot make purchases with steam...

Trying to buy cars and tracks... but can't.

 

Note, I was entering the store portal from within the game. When I go directly to the store URL, the purchase processed worked.

 

Maybe steam overlays turned off?

Can you open the Steam overlay ingame with Shift + Tab?
