Okay, this is a weird one.
Only started last Sunday after a game-crash.
R3E doesn't shut down according to Steam. Whenever I exit, it shows as running in Steam.

Here's the strange bit. There are no processes connected to R3E running according to the Task Manager.
And there is extra load on neither the CPU nor the memory.
But I can't even shut Steam down normally, since it insist that I have to shut down R3E first.....
Only way out is to end the Steam process in Task Manager, and restart the whole thing.

Anybody got any leads as to where to look?
Because I'm even more puzzled than my usual self.

Are you running the R3E exe in admin mode?

    Yep, I am.
Hasn't been a problem to do so until now.

Yes, I was suspecting the opposite, something not being cleared correctly if you don't use admin mode, but that's obviously not it then.

    Actually, never mind.
Cold-booting the PC cleared the problem.
Still don't know what caused it though.....

Strange that a couple of people get the same error over a weekend and it mysteriously clears itself up, thats steam for ya, or RR or maybe even windows.
