Might sound weird, but Tourist version isn't supposed to show up when selecting 'Single Race'-session mode. It does now and you can select it and race it. You spawn in double rows before Bilstein Bridge and race 1 lap, no matter what you selected before and then the race ends. Is quite funny, actually, but should be resolved as some racers could accidentally select this layout and then wonder why it is like described above. Greetings
Tourist layout was made to be working in race sessions from day 1 of the release of the Nordschleife.
But what is the reason for that? You can only race 1 lap, no matter what you select and you can't do pitstops. In 'Practice' Mode it's obviously recreating the Touristenfahrten Experience, but standing starts at Döttinger Höhe makes no sense imo. Greetings
Well, opinions differ, it's quite widely used in multiplayer actually 360 minutes tourist practice servers with a 1 lap race to celebrate at the end
