I like to watch replays of my laps to see where I am making mistakes or to see how my lines when I have a really good lap, but I find the replay system lacking a bit or else I just don't understand the controls. Is there any way to bring up a hud that shows your current lap number and/or lap time. Sometimes when I run 20 or so practice laps, it's really hard to find where that one or two really good laps start so I can study it because there is no lap or time indicator anywhere I can find. Also, how can you watch a replay during a practice session without leaving the session because that would help as well because I could pause and watch my previous lap. During a race, you can pause and a replay option shows up on the menu. There isn't one during practice. Could I map a controller button to go to the replay menu during practice?
Yes, you can bind keys to the instant replay and the replay HUD cycle functions. The replay HUD only shows you the lap number, though.
