Havent bought the 488 yet but comments are quite positive on the forum there. I did access the free update with the 2020 bentley and oh boy its a great drive. New licences would be nice like lambos for example
"Porsche 956, Lancia LC-2 & Jaguar XJR-5 Changelog: -Manual clutch is improved, you still have to lift off the power when switching gear but you can now change gear faster. You have also to lift off when playing on auto-clutch. -Cliplanes bug in cockpit are fixed (thanks The Iron Wolf) -Qualifying turbo boost is removed because it was possible to change the boost inrace. That wasn't the case IRL so it's better without it. -Brake power increased (but they will still have plenty of fading) -Ride height & differential adjustments are now available -WEC front wing is configurable -Time to change tires increased & time to repair damages slightly decreased -New cockpit default view for Lancia -Updated diffuse texture for wipper area" https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198190088989/myworkshopfiles/
original IOM 37.75 miles on steam workshop. A proper conversion with original authors permission and input. check it out, it's wonderful
RFactor's new Nordschleif PBR update is very pretty. There's not much I fire it up for, but that track with their GTE class is a blast.
I wanted to give it a try today. I cancelled this plan after approx 10min of loading time of the 24h layout incl. 40 ai cars (no joke). As far as I know, the shortcomings like the inaccurate design beside the track (like BrĂ¼nnchen) is still not corrected. I played rF2 for about 1,000 hours so far, way more than any other sim but there will be not many added in future. It would need a massive turnaround in their entire business to get me back into this sim.
Hello my dear friends of SimRacing! I am back with my great passion! With this video I want to underline this now. For 3 long weeks I worked on this project every day after work! And finally a first useful result. Sure, mixed reality is not new, because it is something special. And this hobby deserves only the best! Please support me, subscribe to me to get more videos of this kind. I am very enthusiastic and have already a lot of great ideas for the future. I do not know where to start. Since then, no matter what age, origin or religion, here with me everyone is welcome to share this great hobby. I am looking forward to your feedback! See you my Sim Fellas!
Maybe a package with the new Corvette C8R? They have the complete GTE class, I think the C8R is coming soon.
That'd be great. Along with the announced DPi car we're heading towards a proper Le Petit Le Mans on their decent Road Atlanta.
Gotta sort their new UI out first though, it took over 30 mins from thinking "oh I might give rFactor2 a go" to actually sitting in the pits at the Nords, half a sodding hour, I've been in AMS2, drove a couple car/track combo's, lost interest and left again, all before rF2 has loaded, can't be right. Keeps freezing as well, overall, not that impressed with everything other than the driving, which is sublime. Beginning to think I've picked a cursed hobby, no Sim seems to have the ability to provide a total experience and ACC doesn't count as it's still far to limited in content and runs like a bag of shyte on my ageing but still capable PC. Have to say I'm a tad underwhelmed at the lack of progress in general, with the latest examples especially, oh well, maybe GT3 will rekindle the love.
Spa is on it's way this month. I'm looking forward to how this feels with their GTEs.. https://boxthislap.org/rfactor-2-spa-francorchamps-coming-this-month/
Hello dear SimRacing community. I know you already know the race. However, it has been revised by me and is much better in quality! Just enjoy it again. And don't forget that motorsport is a team sport. Without your support our small racing team will never conquer the top! Best regards.
