I swapped from Ryzen 3600 to Ryzen 5800x3d and now I have slow downs even in time attack. The slow downs do not always occur per lap, sometimes 1-2 for a fraction of a second or just 5 sec straight. The game runs at ~10-20 fps when it happens. My issue is that I also installed the newest nvidia driver at the same time for Diablo 4. I am not sure what might be the cause. Temperatures and Power are alright. Is it a RRE Update, the nvidia gpu driver or the cpu / bios update? Does anyone have the same issue? MSI B450 Board, Ryzen 5800x3d, 32 gb ram, 2070 super, hp reverb g2
Please mention all addons ,huds ,controllers What you were doing exactly when it happened , car , track combo , sp/ mp number of ai . Ingame graphics settings and nvidia settings Thanks Andi
After a GPU driver update better check if custom 3d app settings still there. A "clean install" always reset all 3d app settings. I can share what i use for R3E vr... (gtx 1080 + htc vive v1) with default settings for me stutter often, but with these settings : they are indicative, not the per-case solution. hoping they helps in having a more fluid vr experience or in the direction to have one. P.S: fixed refresh is because VR devices are not adaptive. In-game refresh rate should be set to first option having more than 90... i set1920x1080 120hz for instance. try settings above, if works keep, if they dont improve, fallback to previous settings
As I am in vr I have only crewchief active. I suddenly got it even in time tracks on several tracks that were running fine. I started from scratch with the settings and the stutter is gone. I think the cause was reprojection. Thank you very much. I did not change anything in the driver as far as I can remember. I will try your settings!
