In 2023 zullen we naast het reguliere voor- en najaarskampioenschap ook op de vrijdagavonden een GT3 kampioenschap rijden. Er werd gekozen om 1 event per maand te houden en dit af te sluiten in november met een 2.4hr durende finale race. De tracks zijn gebaseerd op het 2023 WEC/IMSA/GT World Challenge kampioenschappen. De wagens kunnen niet alleen gekozen worden uit de klasse GT3 maar ook uit de DTM 2021 en ADAC GT klasse. De GTR3-klasse is de dichtstbevolkte autoklasse in RaceRoom tot nu toe, met een grote verscheidenheid aan spannende racemodellen uit de hele wereld. Allemaal op een gelijk speelveld, allemaal in staat om te winnen met de juiste coureur achter het stuur en allemaal in staat om je te bijten als je het fout doet. It was decided to hold 1 event per month and conclude it in November with a 2.4hr final race. The tracks are based on the 2023 WEC/IMSA/GT World Challenge championships. The cars can be chosen not only from the GT3 class but also from the 2021 DTM and ADAC GT class. The GTR3 class is the most densely populated car class in RaceRoom to date, spanning a wide variety of exciting racecar models from around the globe. All on a level playing field, all capable of taking the win with the right driver at the wheel and all equally capable of biting you if you get it wrong. This pack contains a staggering amount of liveries across the 18 unique car models from Audi, Bentley, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, McLaren, Mercedes, Nissan, Ferrari and Porsche. Raceformat The race format consists of a short 15-minute free practice session, a long 45-minute qualifying session followed by the 1hr race. For the Nov 03 FINALE, it will be a 2.4hr endurance race for double points. The track for the final will be chosen via poll by all drivers who have participated in at least 1 event Circuits 10/02 Daytona Road Course 17/03 Sonoma Short 07/04 Portimao GP 05/05 Brands Hatch 09/06 Paul Ricard (1A-V2) 30/06 Spa-Francorchamps 04/08 Monza 08/09 Suzuka 13/10 Zandvoort 03/11 2.4HR – FINAL (track:TBA) We will not introduce a BoP like in most GT3 races, to keep it simple on the server. However, a fixed car brand/class should be chosen. So that per track you cannot choose the best car all the time. It will be possible to change class/brand of car after deducting 10 championship points for the first time, 20 points for the second time, ... . Points distribution: Same as previous season, each race weekend: 1:35 / 2:30 / 3:26 / 4:23 / 5:21pt/ 6:20pt / .... up to 25:1pt. The final race is for double points * Penalty 3: light penalty, affected driver can continue to drive 5: medium penalty, affected driver looses positions 10: heavy penalty, multiple affected drivers or affected driver DNF`s 10+next race grid penalty:* T1 incident * Race settings Start: Rolling start Fuel consumption / Tire wear: 2x Pistops: Manual Driving Aids: Factory Driving line: Free Choice Cut rules: slow down penalty Open setup Prices Every racer who has participated in at least 7 of the 10 event's, will have a chance to win a nice give-away after the championship: A GT3 tyre, used during the 2nd race of the DTM2022 championship (Spa-Franchochamps manche). Can be hung or used as a decoration piece in your sim racing room, or if you are not a fan of the gift there is the choice to go for a 500VRP voucher. Besides the tickets that will be distributed to each other, who participated in 7 events. The winner of the 2.4hr race and the winner of the championship will get an additional ticket for the raffle.
