Trying to "test drive" a car from the store, it opens a small window similar to the one in Windows that opens when the game starts, but it remains stuck as a clear box, with a "steam bootstrapper" error. Is this a known issue that is related to the current server issues? Or is it just me? I only downloaded the game a few days ago so I don't know if this is a new issue. Thanks!
Hi, have you tried verifying the game's cache files in steam? (Right click game, properties, local files tab) Might be caused by some corrupted data. Report back if that doesn't resolve the issue. Cheers
The game cache was valid but now I realize you can enter the store and test drive from the game itself. And that works. Starting the test drive when the game is closed, from the website, doesn't work, but this might be a steam bootstrapper issue and less a Raceroom issue. So resolved, at least for me. Thanks!
