I would love to have a GT4 class, here are all the amazing cars id love to see: What cars do you want to see? (if there are any left over ) KTM XBOW GT4 BMW M3 GT4 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Toyota GT86 GT4 Mclaren 570s GT4 Nissan 370z GT4 Chevrolet Camaro GT4 Ford Mustang GT4 Ginetta G55 Lotus Evora GT4 Cayman GT4
I saw it last year (2015) racing at nürburgring as the ADAC GT4, along with the ADAC GT Masters event. The KTM was racing there too.
ADAC and wtcc will come. The 2016 classes are already implemented in the dedicated server app (along with FR US and FR1). Only the cars are still missing. I'm happy to get the cars and liveries from the latest seasons.
That Mustang looks pretty awesome. But GT3s are the most unexciting GT cars ever and I'd imagine GT4s are even more tame, so not very interested.
I still miss 5 racing cars in the list. Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4 (2016 ex Trofeo Car) BMW M4 GT4 (2018 from BMW) EKRIS BMW M4 GT4 (2015/2016 from Racing Team Holland by Ekris Motorsport) Mercedes AMG GT GT4 (2017 from AMG) Mazda MX-5 GT4 (2012) Oh ... we forgot a few old GT4 racing cars. ... the Callaway C6 Corvette GT4, the Matech Mustang FR500C GT4, The old Maserati Trofeo GT4, the Lotus Exige GT4 or the Nissan 350Z GT4. A GT4 class would be my very big dream, since there is so far no game, the GT4 seriously implemented. Often cars are used which do not belong to this class, although there are so many racing cars of this class. I say only Pcars or Assetto Corsa. I hope the Raceroom does it correctly and brings us a GTR4 class in the future. After all, there are already some experts saying the GT4 class is the future of GT racing.
I think it would be a good class but I'd rather see the physic updates and reorganization of the other GT classes first.
That's good news, been hoping for a Camaro one IRL. Look for an Audi to be announced this year too. Realistically, moving forward, the most common of these globally will likely be the Cayman, Mustang, AMG, 570S, new M4 and the unannounced as-of-yet Camaro and Audi LMS. Maybe the Ginetta and KTM too, in certain championships.
I dunno, I applaud the approach of concentrating on a few classes and filling them properly, rather than having a load of classes with only one or two cars; resources are finite after all. Better this way than the PCARS/AC approach IMO (all up to personal preference though), although each game has its own solid GT3 roster.
So do I. I also like the continuous expansion which is why I think that starting on GT4 now is a better time than ever to do so. I know there are some classes with relatively few cars and i'd like those expanded as well but there's already a relationship between Sector3 and some of the manufacturers of GT4 as well as some omissions of GT3 that there are also GT4 variants. E.g. Aston Martin Vantage.
I will also add, before anyone thinks I'm fanboy-ing, that those games seem to be taking great steps to change that. The 908 and 962 Porsches are great additions and hopefully the upcoming Ferraris, Alfas and British cars can do the same (for the record, both games also have a great start to a GT4 class).
