Okay, which one of you bastards nicked my instrument panel? That's the Volvo and the Skyline is the same. The M3 works fine though (didn't have time to test the last one) I mean, it's no biggie since I rarely race them, and I'll try the Steam refresh thingie and see if that helps. But does anyone have a clue as to what might be the cause? Haven't had anything like this in all the time I've run R3E.
I had the same thing with the Volvo before. It only occured after I drove a couple other cars and was gone after a restart of R3E
In addition: Normally that error occur from time to time but seems not to be reproducable. So in one race the Cockpit looks like that in the next race with the same car everything can look normal... A workaround that helps is, to disable the setting "opponent Cockpits" in the graphics-settings
Okay, thanks. 'Fraid not. I honestly didn't think that much of it since it looked like a small gfx glitch, or maybe a missing file. Just one of those "well, that's odd" moments.
I had this happen to me for the first time yesterday in one of the old WTCC classes. The game is loading the low quality interior LOD instead of the high quality one for some reason. I just cycled through the driving cameras though and it was fixed when i cycled back to the cockpit cam.
With the WTCC I had a interior problem as well, the mirrors were of low quality, but with the new dash panel it was like there was a segment missing which was just a black area, flicking through the cams didn't cure it, ended up having to drop right back to the main menu where you normally select which mode you want ie, single/practice/multiplayer that cured it, only had this happen for me in WTCC so far.
