Btw did you guys know that thanks to the CrewChief guys, especially @The Iron Wolf , GTR 2 now has CrewChief and native VR support? I think this isn't advertised loud enough in the community. (And it seems like AMS1 wil receive the same treatment in the foreseeable future, but let's wait and see.) Here is a quick test drive, I was amazed by how smoothly everything worked by default:
Yeah, spotted this a couple of weeks back. Re-bought GTR 2 on Steam especially but haven't gotten around to giving it a try yet. Thanks for the vid! It really is amazing what the community can do when they set their minds to something. It also shows the continuing love for such an old sim that they'd do it at all! It's great to see the life of this one getting prolonged even further by this breakthrough, and if it is something that can be extended to work with AMS 1, GT Legends and other old classics then it would be fantastic! Well done to all involved!
