I wont be able to join next round on Lausitzring as I will be going to Austria for a week of snowboarding! ( wohoooooo!!!!) I come home next saturday, hopefully a few hours before the Bathurst race starts so hope to catch you for that one. Best of luck to Aelcio and my teammates in Team 5!
Paul's aware of my wheel issue.....but I've chucked it back together and will make up numbers either until the wheel blows up, or I take myself out... just be aware there may be a slow(er than normal) corvette on the track.... Not a good track to be running a dodgey wheel on..... Chris
At least I didn't have to go through the pit lane this time - no chance of being disqualified for releasing the limiter too early
I should be able to be there again tomorrow, as long as my slow driving didn't hamper my chances of filling in
yes was good race except I can't read speed limit signs lol **Remember Championship racers you have 24hrs after race is over to report any racing incidents you want looked at otherwise we move on to the next round thanks**
Thanks for a very fun and competitive event guys Looking forward to Bathurst next week...always proves to be epic event on the mountain Hope to see team eight out in full force Peace
Nice race, fun track that really comes alive in a race. Turn 6 was a very good spot for different lines when defending and attacking and produced good battles. I hoped for a better starting position than P4 but my final lap in Q saw me running out of fuel 100 m before the finish line on what could've been a faster lap. Had a nice battle from the start with @PresidentSmug for P2 but could hold him behind me until the pit stop. A bit too much added fuel, I came out in 4th place, 14 sec off the leaders but an accident between Yakubu and @gonzales a couple of laps later had me tailing them for a lap and I was able pass them both within 2 laps, where I could take Yakubu on the outside through Turn 8. Congrats @Goran Gorgiev for driving a clean winning race. Bathurst in the Alpina B(US)6 GT3 will be an experience...
Yeah, have to say that the track grew on me. T6 is so bizzare I was watching the battle between you and Ismail...very good!
