You better go for this thread: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/car-wishlist.10048/
The reason is because its the only gt4 car done. When it comes out it will come with a bunch of gt4's. I remember Georg talking about this.
Well, back in the day i could totally understand the reasoning behind this but we are about to get multiple Solo Cars from different Series. (The DTM Mercs) So i dont think having atleast one GT4 to get a little taste of the Class is bad, before the other ones join in. ...feel free to shoot me if we actually get more than the Mercs tho
Actually there hasn't been released much this year. Road Atlanta and Zhuhai - that's about it contentwise. Still not even a sign of the long promised Cayman skins. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to play down the updates we got, but we have been told "the wait is worth it" for so long now and instead of something buyable and playable "all" we got were some online competitions. They boost the name of the game, but let's be honest, bottomline they are for the same select few as all other competitions, while the average player sits and waits for the promised stuff. Mini-rant over.
No, it is not. The car you think of is a customer racing car -not a homologation GT4 car. Keep attention to the full name: "Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport Trophy". - It is a trophy car, nothing more at the moment. See real life comparison here: https://www.manthey-racing.de/de/motorsport/cayman-gt4-trophy-by-manthey-racing For a GT4 Clubsport to suit the GT4 class for example Manthey Racing offers an upgrade package for around 27.000 EUR (base car Cayman GT 4 Clubsport not included in this price of course) and is then called "GT 4 Clubsport MR" - so no, actually there is no GT4 car in the game at the moment. See real life comparison here: https://www.manthey-racing.de/KTLG_2016_11_MR_SOND_981GT4CSMR_Brochure-Porsche-GT4-Clubsport-MR.pdf However, some comments from Sector3 lead to the assumption, that the Cayman will get a proper GT4 brother along with the KTM to play with. We will see when... or if this will work out.
Would be good if something happens gradually. It's nice to get the new WTCR sometime (and I don't mean that totally ironic - the Audi e.g. is quite nice to drive), but much more attractive is the GT4-series.
Definitely wouldn’t mind buying (any) those babies... Cayman PRO4, Mclaren 570s, Ginetta, Nissan 370Z, Aston Martin vantage and Maserati Gran turismo along with the Cayman GT4 clubsport & the KTM
Would also like to see the camaro and mustang.... not a huge fan of the cars but man are they loud and sound great
You' d probabl like the car I just saw racing in the PWC at mosport last weekend. There were 2 panoz avezzano's gt4s racing
To be fair there are so many choices that anything at this point would be nice. Right now it feels a bit like, does the car exist ? Then there is a gt4 version of it.
