Used the exact same program. The only thing I found is it wouldn't let me copy/paste the line of text into it so had to type them out but still a massive time saver.
Yes James there are several programs that will not allow a 'right click paste'. Simply revert to ole school CTRL+V, that'll do the trick. B
...and I completely failed to think of the obvious. The good thing with this program is it saves the last used searches so if you need to adjust the numbers it's only a case of replacing the values.
You mean like when I can't seem to map a button correctly only to realize the h-shifter is in gear?? lol I 'nose' somethin' bout that. haha
What are the other 2 values for? I can hardly understand why S3 decided to bind the head movement of the driver to the chassis movement instead of doing it the same way as in Race 07.
The values, from left to right, are pitch / yaw / roll. It should be made clear that this isn't lock to horizon in its true form. For instance; the camera won't look up if you go down a steep slope. It's a much better result in my opinion.
Yeah I have to say that this has changed the game for me...I couldn't stand the vibrating horizon. Don't be afraid to play around with the variables to find an intensity that suits you.
I am using the 1.00000000 0.00000000 1.00000000 settings now and it might be a little bit too static but i am adding the missing head movement by using TrackIR . Without the "tweak" TrackIR wasn't an option for me. It just felt wrong.
Been using FNR for almost two years for this. Earlier this week Win10 update decided to mess up my PC, I had to bring it to the shop and they could only completely reset it. Reinstalling everything from scratch and now I don't seem to remember how to use my new installed FNR. I get this now: (Syntax error etc...in red) Am I doing something wrong, or ... ?? (Could very well be, getting a bit tired atm...) All help/tips are welcome. Thanks.
Just wrote yesterday in another thread. Just use windows powershell for find and replace. In the link below I use 1 0 1. just check your path and change the replacement value to your 30 50 10 Disable world movement for VR users
Thanks for trying to help. But I have no idea how powershell works. I opened it, pasted the first line, entered and the line was duplicated !? (and I could not delete the second line, entering resulted in a third...) Then I need the cockpit driver view triple and I have no clue what all the characters in your second line mean. As for Find and Replace, I used it several times to change the values, but now it does not seem to work.
Not sure what you mean by run without regular expression ? The number of zeros is correct. From the moment I hit find (after setting base directory, file name pattern and content pattern) the red message Syntax error: Unclosed counted closure near index 35 shows. But I I have no clue what it means. The window on the right, with all the cars gives no error... As far as I recall I'm not doing anything else than before
Look at the image, the checkbox, regular expression, untick that and see how it goes or try Search.and.Replace works wonders for me.
That worked then and since I had to re-install AGAIN due to a Win10Pro update fail (which forced my PC into a start up loop); it worked now too (uncheckking the regular expression box). So: thanks twice for the tip ...
Yeah, several friends suffered from the same issue. This time I got the PC working again (needed to re-install all sims though, glad I had backups for almost all cars and tracks this time), some months ago (same issue), even the shop could not get it fixed and they had to go for a clean install. Thumbs up for Windows...
I want to love this game, but.....NO OTHER sim bounces around like this. I feel like I am going to blow chunks after a couple of minutes. I've tried the various settings, but I haven't found something I can tolerate. I want the horizon locked, and I cannot find a setting that does just that.
