At first I was about to reply that I am not using a set of Heusinkvelds, but then I looked up a tutorial on YouTube. Mr. Goodwin, you just fixed my throttle problem on my CSLE pedals. I have an aftermarket hall effect sensor installed, and since I installed it, the pedal seemed to lack response in the upper and lower regions of the pedal travel. The input doesn't seem to be linear, but more of an arc. The start moves slow, the middle of the travel moves fast, and the upper end moves slow. If that makes sense. I ordered a new potentiometer to replace the hall sensor, but if using diview works. Then the pot will just stay in its packaging. Thanks. Even if this doesn't work, I feel it will be a useful tool to have, in the future. Sorry for going off topic. Will the FFB help with the group 5 Greenwood Corvette? I want to be able to drive it in anger too. LOL
I allready try to use another Heusinkveld Software but it does not work. Also i never heard of Dview but it did exactly what i was looking for... EXPAND THE LOWER THROTTLE AREA @OLD CARS DO NOT USE ON NEWER GT³ CARS It is so simple i just set this to my 3tPa Pro Pedals throttle range 1023:4=255,75 In Dview i set 0min and 256 as Center it works AWESOME now i can controll the car acceleration out of a corner and the throttle feels more realistic. Tested on 1992 DTM,Group 5,Porsche Classis and Group 4 Porsche
You can do the same thing in game with the throttle sensitivity setting. It just adds a curve to the input. 50 is linear, the percentage is the midpoint of the curve. That way you can have 2 profiles set up one for "old" cars and one for modern and switch between them in game. Saves going in and out of DIview.
No sorry Dude it does NOT WORK THE SAME i tried a few MONTH may work on GT3 cars and other with driving help like traction control. It works now perfect i can drive and catch every car by using the pedal as it should work. So again BIG THANKS TO ANDI for dview Edit: If someone use Thrustmaster 3Tpa Pro and has same problems Dview settings for old cars Ingame all stock 50% Dview calibrate min:0 center 123 yep max 1023
Ohh! That sounds interesting! Maybe we get some new racing series for R3E like a "RaceRoom Stock Car" or something else. Mhhh ...
And unfortunately it looks like my worry about the gearshift knocks was justified, no trace of them in the showcased options:/
it might be in the lower section on the bottom of the page that could not be shown in the video. I would be very disappointed if it wasn't there at all.
It's called the shift effect in current FFB, you get little FFB jolts in a wheel every time you shift. Lots of poeple including me think it adds nice immersion, but it seems to be gone in the new FFB.
