While we still brainstorm your issue, test preview branch for raceroom, it contains fixes for some crashes (test in 2d, not vr) [ATTACH]
How does the folder look like? Any chance you have more than one raceroom folder? (send pics)
Make sure to not verify game files via steam after installation; otherwise game will go back to original state
