Our race got postponed tonight due to the update.... gt3 cars are a lot more demanding and tough to drive. Our lap times are much slower than before the update. Finding it tough to get a handle on setup stuff
Now the TC on GT3 must be increased!! Before the update i run with 25% TC with R8 LMS and i passed Radillon without problems, the car were very very stable Now im testing with 35% and 40% and i'am spinning like the TC were to 0 The update made the control of the car more realistic and less boring!
Yes,in the Thrustmaster control panel.that was my general question. That means "standard".i had it always set to 0. Thanx
I#m blown away as well, specially as I drove rF2 & ACC quiet intensively just recently as a reference - of course there are some hickups, some finetuning (on both sides) and fixes required, and I#m sorry for those who might have issues due to their configurations, but thats the way it is. To me now it all feels like it is meant to be, at least regarding my favorite cars and series...so far (still a lot to test )
Are you talking about a car setup? If so it probably won't work very well at all. You really need to create car setups from scratch.
hey i created a vln race with classes of Gt3,Gt4, wtcr19,AudiTTs etc. one of the gt3 cars has a crash on the start and drive behind a gt4 car without overtaking . in the gt3 cars I noticed that on the long straight at nürburging not overtaken despite wind shadow and enough space
Go to your car setup screen on the top left you have the main folder under general settings , than you can click on the little folder icons on the right for a specific setup but as Paul said your custom setups may heavily interfere with the handling of your car - use the standard one
Unable to load any setups I name and save a setup but it's not listed anywhere and no option to load only one that's in list is the default setup. I have tried saving 5 different setups and its says they have saved but does not display them anywhere???
Thanks for the huge update! Initially I had some FFB issues, but I did what others suggested: started with a default profile. Then tweaked a few settings ffb. FFB is great now. Tried some GTR3, GTR4, and Touring Classics cars. Very nice.. Going to buy some of the new cars now.
What I find funny is the same people complaining about this update were probably the same that RRE was outdated and falling behind. An update of this magnitude is going to cause some teething problems. It is also not going to be just plug and play from our end either. So instead of getting mad and sooky about the update, articulate your problem properly and either the staff at Sector3 or some well informed forum members will gladly help you out. Congrats to Sector3 for a great update.
