The Insanity of Ranked Servers.

My rep dropped. Big Deal.

So I tick:
Only Ranked
Only Eligible.

Not a Rookie Race to be found.

Is this the way it is going to be?

No it wasn't like that.
Imo the Rookie Servers need 100% uptime.
They always get filled and very fast.

 

They already do have 100% uptime. Sounds like you did have some filters on.

 

I could argue.
I won't.
But the reality is Raceroom has timeouts, the servers tend to go asleep.
And they shouldn't.
They should pump 24/7. No breathing space.

But no worries, I am just an Armchair expert.

 

It's 1am in Europe and I can still see 8 rookie servers active just now. The servers tagged on schedule as running 24/7 are running 24/7. Sure, once in a blue moon some of them can crash and then you might lose one or two. But if you straight up couldn't see any, there's 90+% chance it was just wrong filter setup or you forgetting keyword written in a search bar (search bar retains last search term as active filter, even after restarting the game).

 

What do you see without these checkboxes? My bet is there's a space typed in the filter textbox.

 

Without the check box's I see too many races that aren't ranked.
But it doesn't matter. Its ok.
