@CheerfullyInsane @pixeljetstream is it just for me, or is there an issue since one of the last patches?

Database.html and database.lua changing date stays at the 05.09.2021. And New AI Results since then will not be added.

If I run the tool it will look like this:

frankly I am not using the tool myself ;) so it's not actively maintained. I can see if it's something simple and maybe the xml format changed or so. ideally send me your files via personal message (aiadaptation.xml and the database.lua)

see if the latest version works better

the main thing that can be flaky is the detection of ai time values generated by the tool and those generated by re3 itself. In the past this was easier as the xml file contained lots of digits, so I could do things like setting the last decimal places to a fixed pattern e.g, 1.12310005 (the 0005). Now they switched to 4 decimal places, therefore it's harder to detect what the tool generated. I changed now so that the tool outputs 2 decimal places for generated values and hope that in it's rare that r3e generates those.

Most times work again, just a few don't.

Do you use the tool to actually generate ai times or just to look at the html for existing times. If the latter I can add an option that removes this special number test.

    First time user.
I loaded up the base.xml file from the author and only see the handful of race combos I have done. Any suggestions?

Seem new times not being added for me as well? Did a new best lap of a 1.06...but tool still says my best is still a 1.07...also ran 3 x different races for AI at 90, 95 & 100 but no AI times appear?

Yep, seeing the same thing here too. Just did a 14 lap race in the WTCRs at Brands Hatch, and it saved my best lap but recorded no AI lap times at all. Checked some previous races and saw the same... my lap time saved, nothing for the AI. I had to go back to a class I haven't raced offline for a year or so to see any AI times.

Is adaptive AI even working anymore or what?

    Works fine for me.
Don't forget, the tool needs two separate AI entries minimum five levels apart in order for it to generate new times.
If in doubt, check the Tool/results/database.html file.
That should register every race you've made, incl. AI times.
