I have bought some new cars yesterday and had great fun with Touring classics cars. Today, I encountered the following: - game is very slow to load up - loading dots between menu screens, each new screens takes seconds to load - when setting up single event, the red Race button is greyed out then keeps appearing and disappearing - after I can finally click Race, another long loading screen takes me back to home screen All other background apps are closed as usual. Low end PC Help appreciated
This morning all was fine, yesterday evening i was'nt able to join the GT3 servers and the game needs minutes to load between the screens.
Looks like a server problem. Possibly too many people are trying to buy and race stuff during the final weekend of the BF sale. Alas...
I'm sure they have heard about it, but you can easily setup auto-scale rules in AWS and Azure for vertical and horizontal scaling... (scale sets). In the age of the cloud, there is no reasons to have slow services due to capacity.
Yet it's somehow hard for me to understand why setting up a local single player session would rely on server capacity
Almost all data in the game is encrypted and game servers are involved in decrypting it. It's done for each session.
Hello, I also had somewhat a similar issue and got it working, could you do the following change and see if it fixed it for you? Got to: My Documents -> My Games -> SimBim -> Raceroom Racing Experience -> User Data And edit the file: graphics_options.xml and on the file change the line: <monitor type="int32">1</monitor> to <monitor type="int32">0</monitor> and save. If that doesn't solve, try renaming the file graphics_options.xml to something like graphics_options.xmlOFF feedback would be apreciated
