Resolved Can't update the game on Steam - Infinite loop

Hi,

I cannot update the game on Steam. It loops infinitely between "Validating" 58.5 GB files and "Patching" 11.5 GB downloaded, 21.7 GB files.

What should I do?

I checked integrity of files. I'd rather not reinstall the game from scratch.

Maybe Steam cache issue. Steam - Settings - Downloads > Clear download cache.

 

Tried it, did not help. I also deleted Steam Cache from AppData. Also deleted a few RRRE files and re-validated the file list, did not help.

I'll leave this to loop for a while but I guess I'll have to reinstall the game.

 

Do you have enough free disk space?

Reinstall helped. Have not tried editing content_log.
