Please provide more context on what you were doing in the game when it crashed, step by step, as detailed as possible. Make sure Steam downloaded the hotfix patch that was released today also.

It was during online racing, it crashes everytime i try online. EVGA 650 GQ 80+ GOLD 650W, ASUS ROG Strix B350-F Gaming, AMD Ryzen 3 1200 4Ghz, G.Skill Flare X series 16gb (2*8gb), Sapphire Radeon R9 390X 8GB Tri-X, Creative Sound Blaser Audigy Fx, Asus Xonar DGX, Windows 10, Simcommander, Logitec G27
That sounds like he's trying to use the 64bit.exe rather than 32bit. Didn't by chance select the 64bit option by mistake?
Multiplayer, multiclass in raceway, me in Mclaren. When there was 8 min and 59 seconds left my screen freezes but i could hear how the race continued. I had to use the task manager to end raceroom, then it crashed.
He didn't choose anything this started after the update auto installed. it might be the update is forcing x64.
But then how do you tell the auto update not to install as x64. plus he has never had this happen before in the 2 or so years of owning this.
plus he does get the dump file like Johnny Turbo Guttman. i'm going to post this once he send it to me.
The 64bit version came with the latest update. If you start the game in steamlibrary, it should ask wether to start 64 or 32. Don't use a shortcut or a third party programm to start R3E How does he start the game usually?
that makes sense i will get him to look for this. he has been using the shortcut on the desktop from the game install. Hopefully fingers crossed that will fix it. thanks for your help mister
i have a similar problem as you but offline. i'm not able playing in 64bits version at all. freezing and crashing.. What is your graphic card ? mine is R9 390,
Updated my motherboards bios today. Drove a 20 min race at Hocken. GT3, 29 starters. No crash so ... maybe
Johnny there was a HotFix, maybe its the reason why you havent a crash again. Glad your okay and can enjoy this game
