I'm not sure if this question has already been asked. So, that's why I ask this now. Expand GTR3 class I am a big fan of GT Cars, so i thought that it must be possible to expand the current GTR3 class with existing 3D modells from the ADAC 2013 class. Please no misunderstand, the current GTR3 grid is allready fine. But i could be even better. There are the FORD GT and the famous NISSAN GTR into the ADAC GT Masters 2013 Experience. This two GT cars would fit perfectly into to current GTR3 Grid. So, is that possible? Or is that maybe allready a point of interest @ Sector3?
A WIP-Picture of the Nissan GTR is already shown after the Bathurst-Victory. So maybe that car will come up with the physics-Update of the GTR3-class...
I'd rather have the GTR2 class expanded. GT3, since its inception, has felt to me it's too much downforce and not enough power.
This man speaks the truth. Don't get me wrong - I love me some GT3s...IRL. Where they almsot single-handedly saved GT racing. Within a sim tho, where you don't have to worry about costs or the ability for your run-of-the-mill gentleman driver* to blow up a gearbox, let alone driving an actual race-car...not my cup of tea *Beware that I say that knowing perfectly well that I would blow a gearbox myself and more generally make a foll of myself IRL
I will say that I love GT3 racing, and it's perfect sim-fodder to me; would love to see the Bentley or any others appear in future. I don't know what is going to happen with this class in firture, but I have noticed that the team seem to be gradually releasing items that were originally teased in an image nearly two years ago, which shows a few GT3 cars not seen yet in game: http://www.virtualr.net/wp-content/gallery/3779/collag11.jpg That said, perhaps some of those licenses are no longer valid (I'm particularly suspicious about the Aston GT3, as it wasn't included in GTM 2013), but a lot of them have been proven correct.
We do have plans to extend the GTR3 class as well as other classes. Maybe @J-F Chardon can tell you more about that.
Absolutely, that class will receive the GT3 specs cars we feature in GT masters 2013 and 2014, but also we'll look at squeezing the Ford Mustang in there too. Plus there will be more cars coming in that we're not ready to talk about yet
Great news! But this also leads to me to a slightly off-topic question: What abou the P4/5 Competizione? Although it was never homologated for GT2/GTE it was (losely) based on the Ferrari F430 GT2 car and it's speed was more similar to this group than it is now in RRRE. And it never produced anything even close to the 750+ hp mentioned in the shop menu. Not even the more powerful street variant of that car had this much hp. So is there any chance that we will see this beauty in the GTR2 class?
Absolutely. Here's a bit of a leak here, don't tell anyone but I plan to get rid of the GTR X class. Doesn't really make sense and it doesn't look very popular either (which is probably related to it not making sense). So most of the models will fall into the GTR1 class, P4/5 will fall in GTR2 class, and the Zonda will be on its own as a cup series.
Awesome!! But with all the cars and liveries that will be in those classes, will it be possible with larger grids in the future?
