Hello everyone, I'm Niki Santoro. First of all, I wish the whole team a Happy New Year. I need technical support because I have a hell of a problem with the game Race Room Experience. For some time now, the game has been crashing every day (critical error) and a crash report is generated. This happens sometimes during casual training or during a race (no matter which track). I have a cool steering wheel but it's no longer possible to play like this, please help me (I have many more files with crash reports)
I read how to report correctly - the game still hangs. 1. run Race Room in 32 bit mode 2. replay recording disabled 3. komputer: Procesor: Intel i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM Card Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4096 MB GDDR5 Sound Devices: Sound Blaster Audigy DirectX: 12.0 Windows 10 - 22H2 19045.5247 4 Controllers: a) handlebar: Thrustmaster - TS-PC Racer + T-LCM b) gamepad: X-BOX 360 (for other games) c) Joystick: Thrustmaster Hotas T flight (for other games) d) Throttle: LOGITECH - Flight Throttle Quadrant (for other games) 5. Files for verification from session 32 bit: a) crash report b) from the LOG folder
sadly it can literally be anything I've seen guys who got crashes on one of the anti aliasing settings (like X2 when other ones were fine) some people had crashes till they deleted all replays from the folder I've seen some people having crashes because of some drivers updates etc etc this sadly is one of the least stable sims if just any small thing is wrong it will crash a lot, LMU also have this kind of problems but not to this degree and magnitude devs trying to improve it so reports for sure helps (in last 2 updates there were some fixes added, at least according to changelogs) but sadly it still happens a lot to many people
I am playing it since 2014? and had 1 crash. In this time period I used at least 4 different systems. I wouldn't call it an unstable game. Most of the time any crashes are caused by drivers and to identify a faulty driver, it is very difficult for the 08/15 user. I believe Logitech is quite known for their trash drivers in the sim racing world.
try some classic troubleshooting Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience rename the folder verify game files via steam Do you use any additional third party software? overclocking software? If you can reliably cause a crash, then try a game session without any extra hardware and software (id recommend switching to discord, if possible)
hey, tanks for answer. i dont use logitech im simrace, i use it in flying simulator. to simrace use TM
what I have found out so far. I noticed that there may have been a problem with the Internet because after the game crashed, the network card showed a connection speed of 100Mb/s. I checked the Windows event log and my suspicions were confirmed. I turned off the modems for a moment and turned them back on and 1Gb/s returned. Then it was fine for a long time and I could play for a few hours without any failures. Unfortunately, today I received a new error, but I will try to remove the replays from the folder and see. Thank you for helping me
after delete replay files. I add 1 screen more from the windows event log, because every time during a dry failure there is such an entry - it may be useful
