Not sure what you are referring to, but it's in the nature of true triple screen support that it requires more resources.
I have a gtx 770 which is an older card . I'm running fairly low on settings and had to lower a couple to get the same framerates but the game is still playable. Hi Georg, can I assume ski is not being worked on? I'l probably be getting a 1080ti early next year.
Hotfix is out ! https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/raceroom-patchnotes-thread.261/page-4#post-135064
Wonderful UPDATE to me this time. Everything is working fine no prob at all. AI seems to be better and I am performing better than ever before. 2.08.505 with the new Vette at Bathurst. Never ever before I reached this time in RaceRoom (my personel best is 2.06.538 at Project Cars 1 with BMW GT3). BUT.... Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please.... AI Selector ! I would pay 100 Bucks immediately ! NO JOKE !!! I did already spent 5 !!! hours setting up a championship with proper opponents. I always fail due to the selection of cars (P4-5 or all these Ford sh.t)....but the best is if you are going back to restart the building of a championship you are forced to reselect the tracks every time. As I like to race 20 tracks at least it takes much time to do so. Would be great not to be forced to reselect. I HATE it. AI selector by the way is a MUST. Never ever I do understand why this feature is not implemented so far. Never ever !!! I also like to say expect of the mentioned thing above, RaceRoom is the BEST SIM for offline racing at all. And I really love it !!!!!! And I can hear the Vette calling for me again....time to set a new record at Bathurst...for sure
@Alex Hodgkinson Do you mind taking another look at the M6? I really think it is much too slow, mostly in a straight line. The M6 really isn't slower around the corners than the AMG, but it's surely a lot slower on the straight. With low wing (3) and super-duper smooth driving through Eau Rouge I finally got it to 252 km/h at the end of Kemmel while I don't need to make any kind of effort to get the AMG to 262 km/h. The gearing seems to be a bit odd too. Thanks a lot!
We will take a look on the balance of performance once again, when we have collected some data from the servers and leaderboards.
Oh I love it more and more...new rec at Bathurst with 2.08.265 and complete detroyed by the AI on 103 % running 2.05.XXX...wonderful...30 cars on track with grafics on full details everywhere and zero probs !
Question to all of us regarding the AI setup (%). As far as I remeber I had to set it up to 110 % before the update to make the AI running the times of RL. For ex, at Zandvoort 1.37.XXX (I can do 1.39.XXX by the way). As this is important for setting up a championship because you can not change the AI setup once done (nice feature for the future and if its just for balancing the AI on different tracks as for "bad" programming or much different own skills and diff tracks) I wonder if now 100% is matching the real life times.
Yep. These new GT3s are great but it's really annoying to have to race them with the ageing Alpinas and Mustangs. I want to build my own custom grid with six or seven of the latest models. So, Sector 3...the AI selector: when? Please put myself and others out of our misery. This feature is as big to me as triple screen and VR is to other people.
Ok, the last one ... I have a new best friend called UPDATED NOV 17...now next new rec...Vette at Bathurst 2.06.756 after reworking the setup. Is this now good enough for online racing ?
the GT3 RUF uses fuel like crazy after the patch. Just did a longrun test for our GT3-league where we drive a one hour race. I tested on Spa, fueled the car completely (110 liters). and after 50 minutes the engine stoped because of no fuel. Before the patch, i entered the one hour races with 100 liters and still had 10-15 liters left after the race. On the same server was a community member with a Ford Mustang, fueld up 90 liters, drove one hour and had 10 liters left... that's a V8 with 5,5 liters (?) cubic capacity... Also, all the other cars on the server doing longruns had no issues with fuel (M6, new R8, etc....). Something definitely is wrong with the RUF there =/
does anybody use ProRacing Dashboard? after the patch for me it isn't working... could anybody help please?
Nissan Gtr seems seriously fudged, admittedly on one short qually session at Spa, pb of 2.16.9 couldnt get within 3 seconds of that, 5th n 6th gear seemed seriously flat. Was only a short run but felt way off the pace.
When did you do a 2:16.9? Was that before the update? Just so everyone knows, this was pretty much a complete overhaul. You cannot compare laptimes pre-update and post-update. Personally, I have noticed the cars being rather significantly slowed down, and it takes quite a lot of skill now to get the absolute top laptimes out of them. Being slower now doesnt mean they are wrong though. They have been BoP'd against real world times at many different tracks, and are on pace with the real thing.
