Yes, I noticed his voice, too. CheerfullyInsane, you should work as dubber for the film industry, or as speaker for radio plays and stuff like that! Maybe even stage, if you have acting skills. "Person": from Latin "persona" (character, mask), origin personare: sounding through.
maybe he could make a guest appearance in the Crew Chief would be nice as a spotter... for the ladies of course...
I have to share my thoughts here. I just got through racing my second single player race using the new Calloway Corvette and 22 cars at 91% AI. The venue I created is the ADAC schedule using the matching cars and tracks as close as I could get them. Races are 90 min; normal fuel and tyres; and all cars have to pit. I haven't been able to pit without dropping from the top 5 or so back to the middle or even last but then the fight really begins!! Working my way back through the pack is one of the most exciting racing I've ever done in a sim. Since the new update, AI will rub and nudge with only a few punts. Before, I could count on getting knocked around a lot. But now, the AI is way more courteous and respectful. It's such a delight! Almost as much fun as my go-cart, rodeo and motocross days!
Hi, I have noticed that the display in the cockpit does not always show the lap times correctly. In the message delta + or - I mean. Has anyone noticed that? Sometimes the Ghostcar is already far ahead, but the time display shows green - 1.5 sec for example. No idea if this was already the case before the update ...
And you could, what a good video mate. Without disparaging human drivers, I suspect an online grid of similar size would have produced similar results at the start maybe even worse.
hello good, I have a problem in the repetitions I see the image very high and almost do not see the tracking of my car focused on the screen, everything has been the root of putting the triple monitor, the triple monitor is perfect but the repetitions they look out of place, do you know why? Thank you. sorry for my English.
Appreciate the sentiment, but I have neither the skill nor inclination. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that I absolutely loathe being on a stage.
There's that. I did actually try it again, this time with a rolling start. Much better results. Even threw in a mandatory pit-stop just to mess with the AI. Actually worked out pretty well, considering. (And before you ask, yes there'll be a video on that as well. Rendering as I type, it just takes a while to render a 45m race.....)
Here we go. Fair warning, due to reasons stated in the intro, there's no real point to this clip. Auto-director footage without current standings, so there's no real way to follow the race. Then again, I didn't want to just waste the replay, so consider this a 45m expo of the sights and sounds of Raceroom.
Haven't had much time to play this. However, I gave it a try yesterday and I am very impressed with how well behaved the AI is. Perhaps I've spent too much time playing other sims. But did the AI receive some sort up upgrade too?
