After update my Windows 10 OS TTS voice in CrewChief changed - was a female, after update - male. How I can set a female voice?

 

Hmmm not possible to do the newest update since days.

 

I had to go back to an older headphones a Steelseries 150. I have noticed that crewchief and Raceroom cut in& out every fews seconds. I went in game and switched to headphones. I went in to the PC and all is connected and trouble free. Does anyone have a fix?

Hmmmm I don't get, what the new "VR feature" does in the last Crewchief Version.

 

It allows you to select windows from the desktop and display them in the VR world (SteamVR only)

Additionaly, it allows you to change the opacity and size of the window based on wheter or not you're looking at it, quite handy

in RaceRoom there is something wrong with the temperature of the front tires, when I see 72° with green, the CC tells me that the front tires are cold.

Just to say thanks for CrewChief, really enjoying it's additional immersion. Especially when "Mike" tells me "Come on Peter, we didn't come here for this"...which is, to be honest, happening a lot

 

one question about starting Crew Chief, I don't know what I changed, but lately it takes quite a long time to start Crew Chief, approximately 10 seconds, but then it runs fine. strange

 

Haha cool. I can rember times when you had to wait 20min before you could start playing a game.
For example the tape drive on the Commodore64. 10sec is not long at all.

 

Those were the days.....and then just before the game would start the loading would fail and you'd have to start again. Kids today have no idea what we went through!!

 

It might be to do with CC now checking in with the ranking database... I could be wrong though

Yes, we caught this bug internally related to that. It is fixed and coming in an update.

 

That's interesting, I have to look into the features of CC again it's checking a database ? what for and what database?

 

It checks the database for multiplayer ranking. So you can ask what the rating of the driver in front is, for example.
