Discontinued OtterHud - A custom WebHud

You don't have OtterHud enabled in CrewChief while running Dash.exe do you? Should be one or the other.

 

Yes, the overlay is activated. The Otterhud is also displayed in the game. Only CrewChief is running.

 

You possibly locked the Hud
Press ctrl + alt + shift + L

 

Must try this tomorrow, but I am not aware of using this key combination.
I restarted Race Room after about 6 weeks because I wanted to set the new resolution for the monitor. Nothing else was changed.

6 weeks ago I could also edit the HUD. I usually know how it works.

 

Maybe you clicked the "Lock" Icon on the left side by accident
If nothing helps you can also reset the hud to default by deleting the content of this folder:
Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\BrowserData\Cache\Local Storage\leveldb

the Hud was really locked. However, I am not aware that I have deactivated it. Anyway, it works again.

i just recently bought r3e and using otterhud with vr is giving me constant micro stutters without fps drops.

is this normal or is it only issue only my end?
is there any ways to fix this?

Hope it will be fixed i rly like information this hud gives me.

cpu: 9600k
gpu: 3080
ram: 3200mhz
hard drive: m.2 nvme ssd
os: win 10 home
vr: hp reverb g2
all drivers up to date

i have a suggestion regarding the HUD:
I am using the OtterHUD in VR, so rescaling everything so it is easy to read is awesome. yet there is one thing that i cant rescale without compromising other data: the top bar displaying who is in front or behind you.

I have attached a picture to show this:

on top is my current setup, with fewer drivers displayed. there is still space left of position 15, so i want to use it, and scale it up. then we end up with the middle setup, where the remaining time is off screen and cut off. driver names are better to read.
the bottom row is with more drivers displayed and zoomed in a bit, that way the lap time and remaining session time are on the edges, but driver names are to small to read.

Is it possible to scale and move the drivers and the timing-info individually, so i can have both, bigger(=readable) driver information and visible timing information?

 

Hey.. loving the HUD, but there's an issue that radar is also shown while in qualification with red cards next/inside of you... but you actually race alone.. is there a possibility to hide the radar in qualification mode?

 

That helps to solve my problem . Its working again

 

Not all qualify sessions are solo though.

 

so is there any plan to fix the stuttering in VR when using otterhud?

 

I know it's not your responsibility but have you heard anything about the HUD functionality being restored for replays. I miss it sooooooooo much...

 

It's not the fault of otterhud. It's webhud in general and how it functions under VR. It's being looked into.

 

I am having issues the graphics is note working when using the excutable and when using crew chief some of data like car status: fuel, lap time etc is not showing

 

Hola tengo un problema con OtterHud ha dejado de funcionar y no hay forma de reinstalarlo, pongo los parámetros que indicas para su instalación y no funciona, una pantalla se superpone encima de otra, he probado todo, para desinstalar el pañuelo de la tripulación, cambiar su ubicación, cambiar los parámetros de lanzamiento en Steam y no hay forma de que funcione, necesito ayuda gracias

 

I haven't been through this entire thread and I know this may not be possible but ... I'm gonna ask.
I enjoy Otterhud and also multiplayer but if I'm waiting for a race I might go in and do a leaderboard, free practice or a quick AI race. Of course I get carried away and miss the practice session so can't then enter. Is it possible to have a count down on a second HUD layout showing multiplayer races? Maybe a check multiplayer menu you're interested in, then have them show to one side in a second HUD layout. Then it would be possible to watch them countdown and ESC out and join one.? I know there is API data for a countdown as the Android app has a countdown of practice, qualy and race.

 

Great mod any ETA on having OtterHUD show in replays again? I want to make vids again with it!

I haven't tried it yet, but I would guess CTRL+V as you would normally paste any clipboard content.
