(sorry that was supposed to say Sepang South) Hi, Can anyone suggest why this is happening? In Oculus Rift, when I go to a race at Sepang South, instead of going to the 'drive/setup' menu, I am immediately placed straight into the cockpit and all controls are frozen. I have to Ctrl Alt Del out. I tried it as a championship event & as a single event and with a different car & the same freeze occurs. All other tracks I have tried, including Sepang North, work fine. I have deleted all files relating to that track and verified integrity, downloaded them again, but still the problem remains. Can anyone suggest the reason for this please? I'm so close to investing in this sim, but it would put my mind at rest to solve this first. Cheers
@morsify Can you try to start a race again, when/if you get the freeze exit the game and attach the Game log and the MWtransport log here. Also please provide your PC specs.
Hi Paul, thanks very much for replying. I left out one important fact - the problem is happening in VR only. I have tested for the issue on both my laptop and my desktop pc, and outside of VR, Sepang South loads in fine. But when I play in VR, the problem I described happens - but only in Sepang South - so far all other circuits are fine. I have i7 4770k, 24GBram, Asus Z81K mb, R9 Nano GPU, Windows 10 Home 64bit. (Oculus Rift headset) I've attached the log and transport files
I will ask the devs to have a look at the logs. It may be a while as other things are happening at the moment.
That's no problem, thanks for passing it on. It seems strange that it is just the one track, so hopefully they can spot the reason. If I find the cause at my end, I'll update. Cheers
I appear to have this problem with it. Before you ask, I did try this with other series as well. Not to take away or add to anything, Georg and JF do great work to bring this content to us.
