Are servers located in different regions as well, or is it just timezone thing? I am from EU but would prefer to race in the morning, so Oceania hours suit me better.
Yes. Try to find an Oceania server in ranked servers (if there are any, or when they spawn) and take a look at ping to see how big it is. Ping limit should be 350 on ranked servers (only European top split will probably have 200). Sometimes ping doesn't show but that doesn't automatically mean that you can't race there or that you will lag a lot. You will need to join the server and see how it goes. If no one else joins it to have a race, that's probably even better because if you get eventually kicked from the server for exceeding ping limit you won't lose any rep or rating. Although you will, most likely, have a pretty high ping that is close to the limit.
I signed up for all 3 races just cause, but i never got an email or anything confirming that it was submitted did I miss something? Thanks
First time I will be joining a special event like that. Are we supposed to get a confirmation email after filling out the form or not? I am a bit confused as I didn't get anything.
Hi everyone, will the time multiplication affect tire wear and fuel consumption? For example, will we have three times more tire wear and fuel consumption compared to a normal race without time multiplication? Thanks
Likely, it worked flawlessly today (even though someone left the "grid" and someone stayed in the pits).
You will only get the email on the race day with a server infos. You don't get any confirmation after filling the form (like you do with Google Forms). You can still check your answers logging into https://forms.office.com/.
Can I get clarification on which GT cars are being used please. The 2.4HR Training Server has the DTM cars and in the competition page shows using the GT3 cars. The first post here says GT3 + DTM '24 so trying to figure out if which we are official using before buying a Pack
Click on the "Spoiler" button in the first post, the car list will be there. https://forum.kw-studios.com/index.php?threads/ranked-event-2025-daytona-2-4h.19879/
As Maske said - you also don't need to buy the whole pack for that (unless if you want). One car (with one livery) plus the track is enough for this event, even if it's a multiclass event.
Have not filtered specifically for Europe, but the number of registrations rises every day. I think we will see at least 8 EU splits, depending on nr of registrations per class maybe even 10
Registration on this will close on Friday I guess? Still pending on if I will have time on Saturday or not.
On Saturday 12:00 (local time of the region at which you want to register). So yeah, Friday is still more than fine.
It says in the opening post: "Europe: CET" which is central european time and the rest: "18:00 - Server is online with practice 20:00 - Qualification starts 20:30 - Race start"
