Bit too hazy/bloomy for my taste and very little contrast which reduces perception of volumes and it flattens the overall image. But I like the saturation level!
that's cause of the values you set. it's basically layers of effects that alter the original "image" underneath. @KoshaPashkin's screen it's probably because he has DoF enabled (+bloom and maybe some blur?). It's totally normal. If you're bothered by the look in the menu, just disable the effects temporarily by pressing the ON/OFF button associated to reshade and then re-enable it when driving or watching the replays
is ReShade working when R3E is not set to fullscreen? offline previews are working but not the tweaking in game
They released v3.0 and omg it's amazing and WAY BETTER, from the installation to the configure part as now you do everything from in-game! (to enable overlay press Shift+F2) http://reshade.me http://reshade.me/forum/releases/2341-3-0
nice but there is no need anymore ... RaceRoom gets his own reshade feature: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/depth-of-field-effect.6444/ #NoAppForRaceRoom still missing: #NoAppForRaceRoom for the crew chief / spotter pls #NoAppForRaceRoom for the telemetry dates pls
Yup I know the DOF is coming but that's only one effect they're adding: there are other settings in Reshade you might want to fiddle with aka: color correction, curves, bloom, Luamsharpen and many many other. After all, that's a post-processing software ;-)
I see how the game could benefit from this, as the standard lighting is very muted compared to real life. I see myself forced to correct it heavily on Sony Vegas for youtube clips. Here's a clip from Mike Davies without correction: Here's a clip from the same race under my point of view with corrected lighting: Even the correction is not as bright as it should be, because the standard footage is so dim that when correcting to the proper values it burns the whites.
The direct sunlight in R3E is way too low, even with strong shadows (noon), it never looks sunny in my opinion.
Hi ! When i want to use Reshade 3.0 the game works but the cockpit in completely black. I only can see the HUD and hear the car when i drive but i can't see anything ? Whats wrong with my game or reshade settings ? I tried both DX9 and DX10 (yes i know R3E is still DX9).... Any ideas ? Please help PS: The game is only working with an old SweetFX version...i guess 1.5 or 2.0...
it looks really nice! Yesterday I was thinking about the quality of the lighting again. It just does not look right in Raceroom, even if there are crisp shadows of the sunlight, it does not feel sunny at all! Can not be so hard to fix that in game I remember the days I was driving pCars, Bathurst at sunset. Awesome light and Atmosphere. I wish we could see that in Raceroom as well.
Hello, I'm running triple screens and having some slight problems when the reshade is enabled, the under car shadows display artifacts. Edit Got it working when I enable complex motion blur in the gameĀ“s visual settings...Don't like using motion blur though, anyway I can disable this without the artifacts?
