Ranked race yesterday, tried to avoid a spun Corvette (on my left front) and took the "shortcut" through the second chicane. Look at the attached image, this 2 inch curb gave my an instant 100% damaged suspension at 56km/h. This is ridiculous. Was on 4th position, race ruinied. 2 minutes repair in a 15 minutes race, 36 points lost. If needed, i can provide the replay file.

I think it´s a known issue. It sometimes even happens over normal kerbs like in the last turns of Zandvoort (very rarely) and Salzburgring (pretty common).

That does'nt chance anything. No part of the track should damage your suspension to 100% in a blink of an eye. This is a run of area and it exist for exactly the reason i used it for. I am absolutly ok to get a damaged suspension when you hit one of the sausage curbs at a decent speed and a destroyed suspension if you repeat this 2 or 3 times, but what happend to me is not ok.
