Recently switched from my old Logitech G27 to a ECCI 6000. The wheel works, even though its using the old logitech profile in the game, but now I cant change the steering angle in the setup screen I think its because this wheel isn't part of the base list within the game, but it probably needs one of the developers to help out Cheers
The ecci , isnt a ffb , its a resistance based wheel isnt it (flos) ? So how do you set the steering wheel limits in its driver , or is iit a manual lock ( physical , mechanical )? Andi
@wsimonds04 How does this wheel feel? I'm very curious. Is there something in the wheel that justifies the lack of FFB?
The wheel and peddles are relatively old. They were bought in 2005, but it feels like its brand new. My best mate upgraded a few months ago, and gave it to me. The wheel is very smooth, which I believe is due to the fluid dampening. I added additional spring tension I think (but maybe I'm wrong), that 17 years ago, the number of FFB wheels were limited, ECCI now makes a FFB version, but at the time they didn't. It didn't take long to get use to the lack of FFB... but there again, it wasn't like I was using a high-end system (the G27 served me well, but its not an accuforce). If you have one of the better new FFB wheels that are out there, then It would probably be a hard transition
Hi Andi. the problem isn't that I can't bind keys, its that I cant adjust the steering angle in the setup screen. There is no slider to select, but when I was using the old G27 wheel there was a slider. Someone else had the same problem with a VRS wheel a year ago and Alex Hodgkinson said he'd have to create a profile and add it to the games database.
