can anyone help me....i just can't break with the ai and not run into the back of them especially when i have to slam on into hairpins. it annoys me that i have to drive more conservatively than the ai whilst the ai can break much later
1, increase breaks to 100%. 2, find a bias so that u lock no tires when breaking in a straight line. 3,turn of tire ware cause they break better than the player with cold tires and breaks.
play with your brake bias until you get all 4 wheels stopping equally. Stock setup will give you too much front and as you try and brake with the AI you will lock the front wheels and slide right into them.
@kamackeris I think it was you who recently posted a thread on this subject over at RaceDepartment. It very much seems to be the case that the AI can brake more effectively than the human player and I don't think much can be done other than anticipating when you need to brake a little earlier. As the AI uses a simplified physics model (like all racing games), this could be a by-product of that.
This drives me mad with my tablet, always change what I try to write even though I have turned it off!!!.. .
"Drahtigste Autokorrektur", is what my phone wants to write, when typing "Deactivate autocorrect" Having the same problem in the first turns.
Yeh it was... I was wondering if anyone here could help plus I want to know if the sector 3 guys are doing any tuning regarding this.... After the ai getting so much better this is now my number 1 annoyance!
You can also try softening the suspension a couple of clicks. That will help your grip as well. Basically take some time and play with the cars setups.
This is one of the most useful threads I've ever read on braking techniques: http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16021
Hey, how to we check in raceroom what wheel is locking up first? do you use an app for your phone, tablet? the audio does not help me, I can't hear any difference between front and rear locking. Raceroom by itself does not provide any visual telemetry information
