What would you like to see for Formula RR 1?

This thread turned into "I want FRR Classics" or /r/f1circlejerk real quick.

Wasn't there some announcement where there were going to be classic F1 style cars, alongside a fleet of other openwheelers?

 

For classic F1 we need classic Nordschleife

 

IIrc J-F mentioned in some interview that they are planning to create a current F1 style class and a classic Formula style one.

The great thing about these fantasy series is that they can be as creative as they want, put a 12 cylinder engine in a very modern F1 chassis, with or without DRS. Endless possibilities.

 

Oh man, V8 or V6 twin turbo current-era f1 style car, V12 golden-age f1 style car.

That'd be sick!

This is exactly why I've kept myself from posting here multiple times. I'm one of the few that would love to see a Sector 3 take on modern F1 whether that is the V8 or the V6 turbo. I'm all for classic and retro F1 cars, but the utterly insane and rabid 'IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER BEFORE' mentality gets real old real fast. Once upon a time those were the 'new' cars that were pushing the old favorites out of competition, but rose colored glasses and all that jazz.

I mostly just don't want yet another Lotus 49 and yet another Lotus 98T. I've driven them so many times in so many games, I don't need them or want them again. If you have to go classic/retro, at least give me something that hasn't been done to death already

 

See above, 6-wheel class ftw. Nobody's ever been mental enough to do that. ^^

I would like to see a system/format editor for a formula 1 (ish) class. If Sector3 makes a Formula 1 car, fine to me, but I would like to play with the 'restictions' to get different kind of championships ! For example ;

Formula 1 weekend - Hungaro ring
DRS enabled - 1 DRS zone - 90 secondes of DRS usage during a race per driver. DRS enabled for free by passing slower cars

Or

Formula 1 weekend - Hungaro ring
DRS unabled - ERS enabled - maximum of 150 Bhp per car during the race - DRS enabled for passing slower cars.

And like the DRS / ERS functions, maybe also with fuel flow meters, torque limiter and minimum of tire changes (swaps of different compounds). ?
