To be honest... I seldom stand still on the tarmac while in a race and try to spin my wheels in first gear So where is the point??? If I am the only one who suffers of tremendous oversteer on turn exit under full power then... well then I am a very bad driver
If you try the same with DTM 92 and Touring Classics the result is? I have also noticed that, good question.
Don't let this turn into a row fellas I think the turbos aren't working properly when the engine isn't under load, so when you pop the clutch there's very little power - like the turbo hasn't spooled up at all
Thats normal actually. That's just how turbos work. Edit: For all you interested, Maximum Boost is a good book to look into this. And since everyone and their dog is posting a video might as well xP
And that is exactly what I get, to much gas and I veer r/l so bit of clutch slip and you can control a wheelspin right up to 3rd, don't make me any faster though!
Well, if Turbo is not working under clutch/neutral then i guess those cars have similar power to DTM92/TC but use much wider and gripier tires. That would make sense.
A perfect start is where you dont get a dip in rpm. That is impossible to achieve for me with these cars. The Silvia has 650hp
Try this again, but shorten the final drive and also reduce the fuel tank to 40 litres. Makes a big difference.
Sorry, lower the fuel amount in the tank to 40 litres. Are you using the G5 Classics on a Hillclimb track? I haven't tested with the Hillclimb cars.
Also, could we have some confirmation that the missing turbo boost on neutral/clutch is just a minor graphics issue or a bug preventing full power to be delivered? It could explain why 8/10 times starting with auto-clutch (by putting into 1st at high rev from N) is painfully slow with the aforementioned Gr.5 cars, whereas the N/As pose no problem. Thanks!
I did understand what you meant. So I'll have to reduce the amount of feul to get a god start !? Come on Henrik! It's obviously something wrong with some of the cars. Same with the Nissan (GTO) and the Quattro. Can you achieve a good and realistic start with the Quattro? Why all this excuses?
Being dismissive of someone trying to help you through the issues you are having isnt going to get you anywhere... "Why all the 'excuses'?" Well, perhaps people have a different feeling on how things work in game and have different experiences than you. Not everything is "OMG BROKEN" just because a guy says so on the forum Carry on.
Henry, I'm sorry if I was rude, it was certainly not the intention. Can we return to the topic of the thread instead of looking for flaws in users nate? Your opinion on the matter?
Come on lads, no need to be short with each other. The g5's are ace, but something isn't quite right with the turbo cars from a standing start. They're not completely broken or anything but they do bog down off the line in a surprising way
