The little dip at the top of the front wing does it for me, gonna take a stab at the Lambo but unless Simbin and S3 are exchanging cars for sound, this titbit does little to change my life. There is only so much GT3 action I can take, what with ACC imminent and GT3 supposedly in development, I'm beginning to think enough is enough. So many other great series, both past and present, yet we're inundated with GT3's. Saying that, any addition to my RR garage is always appreciated and any expansion of any class suits me sir!
I thought so too in the beginning, but after having a closer look to the side-mirror, you can see that the flag is wrapping around the mirror-housing. The Mountingpoint to the Mirror-Housing is on the far outer side on the R8, so that the flag couldn't wrap around like that.
I would wish they would announce a bit more substance: what the state of things is, where they stand in development, the intended timetable. Drops of adverts like in this picture imo are best left for a later stage of development or even post-release DLCs: they do not really answer what many people really want to know about: when, what, how. All I now know is: the title will include at least one car.
IMO the hood of the lambo is too steep. On the pic it doesn't seem to get that much down in the front. So I would say it's probably the Honda nsx. It would fit better.
A Super GT-based GTR 3 would be pretty interesting if you ask me: - Japanese motorsport is a bit separated from the rest of the world, but it is very decent - we would get multiclass racing out of the box, there would be a bunch of GT3's which seems to be a must for relevance nowadays and also the great GT500 class which is very underrepresented in other sims at the moment - Japan has a great selection of high profile tracks like Suzuka, Fuji, Okayama and Motegi - Super GT has interesting support categories too, like Japanese F4, All-Japan F3 and especially Super Formula, which is even closer to F1 and IndyCar than a Formula 2 car performance-wise - Super GT and DTM will use common regulations and will organize two joint events, so future DLC possibilities are also good looking
Only the wing bracket is standing above the wingplate on the side. But neither does it fully resembles the Lambo Huracan GT3 with the wide rear. Though that could somewhat be explained by the very wide wheelarches on the rear. But without looking to much to the bump on the rear wing, the silhouette indeed mostly resembles the Acura. But when you take Asian GT300/500 in account, it even could something like Lexus or Toyota.
Bah! didn't even see the mirror until I blew shot up, bye bye Lambo and hello nothing! Not sure this GT3 promotional game is gonna catch on, if the bloody game is gonna get released then it will have to have all GT3's currently running or it's not doing what it say's on the tin and will fall short of the competition. So if GT3 has Ferrari, Lambo, Aston Martin etc etc then it's as simple as, if you want our sound guru to cast his magic over your title, you know the cost!
Could be anything really, R8 is a sensible shout but then it could also be a Porsche 911 RSR GTE for all I know, praying for the RSR GTE and a full WEC license, even IMSA would do
