There is a bug with the Cupra E-Racer AI. In championship mode, the AI doesn´t leave the pits in practice or qualifying and in the race they just stand still in the grid forever. I think other people reported the same issue a while ago
I have no experience with them except for test driving. As long as they are fun to drive and we can get some active series, I think they are a part of the racing experience.
Initial response was it doesn't matter, but in retrospect it absolutely does. I like my sim cars to be loud and contribute to the sim climate change.
Sector 3 did a great job with electric cars. However, it sounds like a mini train, and it gives me the creeps. I was not fond of it at all. Also, there is no gear shifting that makes me hate it even more. I said more than enough.
Traditional driving styles dont work for electrics. Because of the ERS system it requires you to lift off earlier and use the brake much less. You wont struggle with electrics in braking zones if you drive em the way they've been designed to be driven. Electrics have weaker brakes because its extremely inefficient and wasted energy. Disgracefully raceroom has no training or even driving tips section in the UI to teach this. So when its selected in any combo people drive em by stamping on the brakes and spinning off and scolding the car/physics.
kinda of like driving the real one, just gotta sit there and sus it out quickly, also they dont have bad brakes, theyre just having a harder time from all that weight. gotta let the regen do the work. if anything it really suits a European driving style
i STILL want a generic formula E and the other Etcr. but also something that was 2 tonnes, made v8 noises big brakes. skinny tires and most importantly a LOCKED DIFF would be more than welcome too
