I think every Employer has a bad day today cause every one wants to take the freetime card See u on Track guys
First dozen of laps has been logged in, three cars, three times of day (morning, noon, afternoon). I must say it looks awesome, really very beautiful. I compared to a realworld GT race video at youtube offering a wide, open camera angle, and must say that the feeling of the various locations on track and the vegetation density and height really have been met extremely well, better than in Assetto Corsa. Also, more trackside and object details than in AC. This verison really beats Assetto's Spa visually - once again, I must say. I think R3E is a new visual standard for racing tracks in the industry. However, I must also report the need for more optimization. This is the first time ever in R3E that I meet occasional stuttering, and even not with a full car field but with just 6 cars in training mode: on the second pit-straight after La Source (allt3 times of day I tried), and again after Eau Rouge on that part of the straight where at afternoon the trees cast shadows on the tarmac. Its the first time I have stutterings in R3E, I had none even when many people complaine dbaout stuttery frames at Shanghai, which was always smooth for me even with full car field. Have not even tried a full car field so far. Please look into it. Else: superb looking track, a real beauty. And drives nicely, too.
@Skybird which Shadow settings u have ? Cause i got also some stuttering at Bus Stop . After i screwed down the Shadow Settings and the Shader Quality to medium the stuttering was gone.
Is there any difference in the 3 layouts, the maps all look identical Screenshots look awesome, it's a must have i must admit, might have to "eat my words" and purchase it
I haven't been able to try it out yet. But we shouldn't have to change our settings depending on what track we want to race!.. .
Surprisingly, you were right, Sascha. Surprising I say, because it is iron rule over here to always have shadows set to medium as my standard setting; maximum shadows impact heavilyon frames in so many instances that i decided to just no longer care for maximum settings. Why I now found them to be set to High in R3E, I am a bit clueless about, the last thing I remember is that I have had them always at medium. Maybe an update for R3E has changed that, I don't know. Switching them back to where the belong, gave back smoothness where needed. You hear me, Gary?! Try slightly lowered gfx settings and see what it does for you.
Good to hear that i helped u with your issue Yeah maybe the settings switched cause of an game update or an driver update but its always good to look into the settings when u get graphic problems. Best example the Fullscreen setting they changed it in one update that this option is activated in standard settings.
